Annotated Bibliography Requests
Answer
Our databases and catalog are available to students for use in their research projects. Here is a link to the complete list of databases:
https://spcguide.libguides.com/az.php
Our catalog contains our books, eBooks, and some journal articles, and is available here:

The first three databases are good general sites for most research topics, but can be lacking for more specific subjects.

Make sure when searching to always limit results to Peer-reviewed and Full-text as this will ensure the best results.
While searching, try to identify relevant keywords that will yield better results. A tip is to use an * at the end of a word to catch all variations, so key* will return all results with keyword, etc. Also, use the wording from articles and sources you find to develop additional keywords as you go.
Be sure to check out the bibliography on articles for other useful resources the authors have used. Just use our Journal Locator to see if any interesting article is available through the library.
Hopefully these resources will be enough to get you started on your assignment, and if you need more assistance feel free to reach out to us through chat or schedule an Individual Research Assistance session.
